Back in 2012, we had a vision of creating a brand and selling unique, high-quality custom apparel. It all started with our very first design, a shirt inspired by Job Corps in West Virginia. Shortly afterward, we became part of launching an urban apparel brand known as Basiq Blaq By Design. In the beginning, many of our designs focused on representing local communities and celebrating the people, places, and experiences that helped shape our journey.

As we learned more about the apparel industry, we initially relied on outside companies to produce our shirts. However, we quickly realized that the finished products did not always match our vision. Determined to deliver the quality and creativity we were looking for, we invested in learning the craft ourselves and began producing custom apparel in-house in early 2017.

Over the years, we built a strong reputation for producing high-quality custom apparel and delivering exceptional customer service. We expanded our services to include custom vinyl, screen printing, and direct-to-garment printing, giving our clients multiple options to bring their ideas to life. Our portfolio includes work created for individuals, families, community organizations, small businesses, celebrities, entertainers, and industry professionals.

With more than 15 years of experience, we have shipped custom apparel throughout the United States and around the world.
